At the Akademy, the longest night of the year was celebrated with strong participation and great enthusiasm. The ten-thousand-year-old tradition of the Kurds was brought to life through songs, poetry, stories, and riddles.

The event was organized by the Akademy. Artist Ferec delivered a powerful heavy metal performance on guitar. In addition, artist Sirac, together with tembur player Serkan, enriched the evening with their songs. Teachers and students of the Akademy also took to the stage with various performances.

Guests were welcomed with traditional treats such as roasted chickpeas, walnuts, and dried fruits, and the night concluded with a joyful round dance (govend).
