On the occasion of International Mother Language Day, the Akademy will hold a panel titled “Language and Nation” tomorrow, 14 February 2026, at 14:00 at Van TSO.

The panel will feature academic İlyas Suvagci, poet Sidiq Gorican, and dengbêj Taha Bozdemir. The discussion will be moderated by Ruzerin Sumer.

The event will focus on the relationship between language and identity, the importance of mother languages, and the role of language in cultural continuity. We warmly invite all language lovers, students, academics, and members of the public to join us for this meaningful discussion and to celebrate International Mother Language Day together.
